Where to Eat in Sevilla: Finding the best food

I love every city in Spain but Sevilla is by far one of my favourites! I love the vibrant colours, narrow streets, literal tiny bars, delicious food and of course the locals!

Breakfast:

El Arriero

Just past the bridge from the central of the city into the town of Triana; is a beautiful small restaurant filled with regulars called El Arriero. The original 'Desayuno Especial' meaning 'Breakfast Special' which included:

Tostada con jamon (Prosciutto sandwich) , zumo de naranja (orange juice), and cafe con leche (coffee with milk) for 3 EUROS!!!!! Plus its seriously DELICIOUS!!!

Note: Sevilla has the cheapest prices for food from the cities I have visited in Spain.

La Estrellita

Also in the city of Triana, La Estrellita is only open for breakfast and has no "official" dining area. The way you order and pick up your food is through an open window, and all seating is in the outside patio.

Don't let the look of it fool you, because their tostada con jamon is incredible!

Tapas:

Spain is the self-proclaimed tapas capital of the world! For any food lover this is a dream. If you are visiting Spain for the first time I would highly recommend that you do a tapas tour- it might be overwhelming trying to find the best restaurant and best tapas, the people who guide these tours take incredible time and effort to show you the best in each city. One I recommend is Azahar Sevilla Tapas Tour!

Tapas in Sevilla can be around 1.80€ and if you go to a modern restaurant up to 6€

Mercado de Triana

El Mercado is one of Seville’s most beautiful and historic markets. They have a ton of options to choose from, and you also enjoy the view and getting to walk between the colourful aisles! Bonus: After your meal, check out a flamenco show in the tiny but amazing theatre!

El Rinconcillo

This 'little corner' is Sevilla's most historic taberna and is famous for its amazing tapas. You can choose from tapas of ham tortilla, carrillada (slow-cooked pork cheek) and pavias (cod chunks in batter). And you can either stand at the bar or find a table!

Lonja del Barranco

If you're looking to splurge check out Lonja del Barranco - this stylish and modern market serves gourmet versions of tapas, big meals, and desserts! Not only will you enjoy the delicious food and atmosphere, but you will also fall in love with the architecture; which is surrounded by walls of windows and its high ceilings- a trip here will not disappoint!
